Ohio Fishing Reports, lake erie charters

This year is going to be the one for lots of large fish in our area.The enormous hatch of 2003 walleye will be in the 6 to 8 pound range and will be migrating to our central basin starting in May.I beleive our coolers will not be large enough to hold limit catches of these fish but not a bad problem at all.


The perch fishing is supposed to be the best in over 2 decades with the ohio department of natural resources debating right now about raising the limits in our area above the 30 per man quota of last year.these jumbo perch will start bitting in early may and continue through november.


The rainbow trout (steelhead) are currently loaded up in our river and many 20 fish plus days are the norm.We will start chasins these tremendous fighting fish off our shore in mid july through september in our deeper off shore waters.
