Ohio Fishing Reports, lake erie perch fishing charters

well it is that time of year again that our lake erie perch fishing charters kick into jumbo perch fishing.even though we had fantastic perch fishing all yearthis is the time for the jumbo perch to show up in record numbers.


we are fishing out of the grand river near fairport ohio in the central basin of lake erie.the perch are stacking up on the hump off of mentor which is a short trip from our dock located next to pickle bills lobster house.


the last 2 weeks of august we have been using emerald shiners and perch spreaders with ultra light spinning rods.i am sure this is going to be the best jumbo perch fall fishing we have ever seen.


we have also been picking up a lot of white perch and white bass making for constant action all day.if you would like to fill your freezer full of these outstanding tasting fish now is the time for big ones.keep in mind we have the largest and nicest charter boat on lake erie.
